PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new technology that can quickly specify frequency components salient in the differences of output levels and can quantitatively correct the differences when the output levels by every frequency component of playing tones of musical pieces under playing in public performance before the audience are different from the output levels determined at the time of a rehearsal. SOLUTION: The display device has an input means where the sound signals of the playing tones of the musical pieces are inputted, a generation means for analyzing the sound signals at the point of the time the prescribed time elapses from a music top when the music top of the musical piece is instructed and for generating playing data indicating the output level by every frequency component of the playing tones at that point of time, and a display means for acquiring the reference data representing the output level of every frequency component at the point of the time the prescribed time elapses from the music top and for displaying the output level represented by the reference data and the output level represented by the playing data by correlating them with each other for every frequency component.
