PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication karaoke system in which recorded data can efficiently be transferred to a karaoke host device which is network-connected to a karaoke playing device, from the karaoke playing device, untransferred recorded data are prevented from being excessively accumulated in the karaoke playing device and the processing function of the entire system is improved. SOLUTION: Employing the function in which automatic switching from a driving mode (M1) to a sleep mode (M2) in timing that is thought to be no karaoke usage for a while in the duration of no operating state by a user, attention is made to the fact that generation of event data having high priority order is thought to be low in the vicinity of the beforehand set switching time. When untransferred recorded data are existed, a function is added to automatically transfer these recorded data in timing which is go back for a prescribed time from the automatic switching time to the sleep mode (M2).
