<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the use of a plastic material, developing a sufficient combustibility of the plastic even in the case of blowing a large amount of the plastic into a blast furnace to enable the blowing of the plastic into a blast furnace at a low cost, enabling the crushing of the plastic at a low cost and suitable also for the use of a large amount of used plastic in a coke oven. <P>SOLUTION: Crushed plastic material is classified into two by the particle size, the plastic material having smaller particle size is totally or partly used as a blowing material for a blast furnace and the plastic material having larger particle size is totally or partly used in a coke oven. Preferably, the crushed plastic material is produced by heating and cooling the plastic material and crushing the product, or mixing the plastic material with an organic solvent, heating the plastic material by the sensible heat of the organic solvent and/or an outer heat source, cooling the material and crushing the solidified material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
