<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of cart having a simple structure and capable of applying positively a brake for a long period of time by a relative light operating force. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of fixed casters 5 are arranged at substantial central portions of a boggie frame 1 and a brake is applied to the fixed casters 5 through an operation of a brake pedal 11. A pair of brake shoes 12 for depressing against the upper portions of wheels of a pair of fixed casters 5 to apply a brake action are protruded downward at both sides of a brake shoe supporting rod 13, and a linear brake arm 15 having the brake pedal 11 fixed at its terminal end is oscillatably pivoted at a pivot part with its extremity end arranged at the bottom segment of a boggie frame 1. The brake shoe supporting rod 13 is arranged while being crossed at a right angle with the brake arm 15 and at the same time it is connected to an intermediate part of the brake arm 15 through a link connecting part 14, and a linear part is formed between a pivot part 16 of the brake arm 15 and the link connecting part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
