MAIN SPINDLE DEVICE, AND TOOL HOLDER CLAMP UNIT USED FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device of a machine tool capable of easily detaching a tool holder clamp unit with a clamp mechanism and an energizing mechanism from a front of the main spindle. SOLUTION: A clamp mechanism 25 clamping a pull stud part 212 formed at a taper shank part 211 of a tool holder 21 is accommodated inside a unit body 23. A drawing bar 36 connected with a slider 26 for opening and closing a clamp member 27 of the clamp mechanism 25 projects outward from a rear end of the unit body 23. On an outer periphery of the drawing bar 36, a plate spring 43 is mounted between a spring receiving member 31 and a spring receiving member 41, so that the drawing bar 36 is always energized in a rear clamp direction. The tool holder clamp unit 22 with the energizing mechanism 44 and the clamp mechanism 25 is mounted to a through hole 151 of a main spindle 15 in a manner to be detached from the front of the main spindle.
