PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method ofλ/4 coaxial resonators andλ/4 coaxial filters whereby the mass-production of them can be attained at a low cost and with a high yield. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of theλ/4 coaxial resonators includes steps of: forming an inner conductor and an outer conductor; measuring a resonance frequency; selecting and ranking dielectric ceramic members on the basis of the result of the measurement; and forming a short circuit conductor to one opening end face of a through-hole, and the method measures the resonance frequency in a state that no short circuit conductor is formed to both opening end faces thereby facilitating strict selection and ranking, and frequency adjustment.
