PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover device of a machine tool capable of reducing manufacturing cost by dispensing with machining of a rib of a bed and preventing leakage of coolant splashing during machining of a workpiece to the outside of a cover main body. SOLUTION: A mounting adapter 32 is mounted to displace in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction on an upper end part of the rib 11b constituting the bed 11 via a first sealing member 33. A plate part 22b to be supported formed at a lower end part of an external cover 22 is supported on an upper surface of the mounting adapter 32 via a second sealing member 41. Even if a dimensional error in manufacturing the rib 11b exists, the dimensional error is absorbed by elastic deformation of the first sealing member 33 and position adjustments in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction of the mounting adapter 32.
