PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader having high kneading efficiency with a small load in power which is easy in manufacturing, lower in wear, and easy in maintenance. SOLUTION: Rotors 19, 21 rotate at the same speed in the same direction. The phase of kneading members 6a, 6b is different from that of 7a, 7b by 90°. The kneading members 6-1 to 6-20, 7-1 to 7-20 and 6-23 to 6-26, 7-23 to 7-26 are arranged on the spiral surfaces of right torsion with rotary shafts 4, 5 as the respective centers. The kneading members 6-20 to 6-23, 7-20 to 7-23 and 6-26 to 6-28, 7-26 to 7-28 are arranged on the spiral surfaces of left torsion. Mixing by the kneading members 6 on the rotary shaft 4 and the kneading members 7 on the rotary shaft 5 at the same positions in the axis directions between the rotary shafts 4, 5 heightens the kneading efficiency.
