PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a water purifier which is capable of rapidly treating water injected to the water purifier even when a water purification filter is fresh activated carbon in the water purifier of a type that water is passed through the water purification filter by the self weight. SOLUTION: The cartridge 1 for the water purifier has a structure constituted so that a 1st net/slit like filter 51, an activated carbon filter 41 and a 2nd net/slit like filter 52 are provided inside the cartridge 1 in this order from the upper side, an air discharge column 6 fixed to the bottom of the 2nd net/slit like filter 52 and extending up to a place higher than the position of a liquid flow-in part 2 is provided and has a lower part air passing hole 62 for discharging air present below the activated carbon filter 41 and an upper air passing hole 61 for discharging air in the air discharge column from the upper side of a liquid flow-out part to the outside and the 2nd net/slit like filter 52 is inclined upward toward the mounted position of the lower air passing hole 62 from the periphery of the filter.
