PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a stabilization method for incineration ash which processes incineration ash containing pollutants to make it nonhazardous and causes no leakage to the outside of washing water used in the above detoxifying process without special facilities. SOLUTION: The stabilization method for incineration ash includes; a cooling and washing process in which clean water 21 is sprayed on main ash 10a among incineration ash 10 produced by the incineration of waste with an incinerator 1, and the main ash 10a is cooled, and hazardous substances contained in the main ash 10a are eluted, and then the ash is washed; a polluted water purification process in which polluted water D, which is the water 21 coming to contain the hazardous substances after it is used for cooling and washing the main ash 10a in the cooling and washing process, is partially separated and the separated polluted water D is vaporized with the heat of the incinerator 1; and an incinerator-cooling process in which the remaining polluted water D is sprayed into the inner side of the incinerator 1 and the incinerator 1 is consequently cooled.
