PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for confirming the existence position of an object by which the existence positions of a plurality of objects are simultaneously confirmed in real time as required. SOLUTION: An object existence position confirming system consists of: a tag retained on the object and having information specific to the object, a transceiver having inherent information on the tag, a function measuring the position of the object, and transmitting and receiving the information specific to the tag and the position information; and a transmitter-mounted moving object. The transceiver consists of: a storage section storing the registration table of the moving object; and a processing section checking the information specific to the tag against the registration table, and confirming the existence position. In the object existence position confirming system, the method for confirming the existence position of the object is configured to confirm the existence positions of the plurality of registered moving objects based on the information specific to the tag and the position information from a position information measuring instrument.
