PRESENCE SERVER, SYSTEM, AND PRESENCE INFORMATION MANAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence server, system, and presence information managing method that can avoid a registration sequence of unnecessary presence information. SOLUTION: The presence server 60 has a presence information reception part which receives presence information on a terminal 1; an effective time determination part which determines an effective time of the presence information on the basis of the presence information; a timer part which counts down the effective time; and an effective time transmission part which transmits a current effective time to a proxy server 61 when receiving the presence information or receiving an effective time request message from the proxy server 61. The presence information reception part is configured not to transmit the request message to the terminal 1 when the effective time is not zero and transmit the request message to the terminal 1 when the effective time is zero and the request message is received from the proxy server 61 to receive the presence information from the terminal 1.
