The present invention describes a method and system for a wireless communication between the integrated circuits of a single card. Each integrated circuit comprises extra circuitry useful for transmitting and receiving light signals in the system. A first integrated circuit (IC) comprises two parts: the first part codifies the information of electric signals while the second part converts said electric signals into light signals. Furthermore, a second IC comprises a part that detects said light and converts the same into its corresponding electric signal. The inventive system provides a more efficient communication between the electronic circuits, thereby providing a more effective performance of the systems containing the same.
