FIELD: granulation of thermoplastic polymeric compounds. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of a granulation of thermoplastic polymeric compounds, in particular, to thermoplastic polyolefins. According to the method the polymeric powder produced in the polymerization reactor is melted and homogenized in an extruder, then it is pressed through an extrusive nozzle and granulated. Before loading into the extruder load in a plodder a polymeric powder-subjected to the thermal treatment by heating it up to the temperature by 5-30°C below the melting temperature of the polymeric compound. At that the thermal energy necessary for thermal treatment of the polymeric powder is produced due to the usage of the waste heat of the exothermic reaction of polymerization.
