<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus capable of satisfactorily transferring an image, irrespective of the thickness and kind of a recording medium, and also, which is excellent in long durability, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the transfer apparatus capable of forming an image of good quality in a stable state. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the transfer apparatus 90 provided with an image carrier 20, a transfer belt 100 for transporting the recording medium P while holding the medium P together with the image carrier 20, and a transfer roll 30 arranged opposite to the image carrier 20 so as to freely rotatably stretch the transfer belt 10, and for transferring the toner image on the image carrier 20 to the recording medium P, at least one or more backside layers 100b having hardness higher than that of the side face of the transfer roll 30 is arranged on the inside surface of the transfer belt 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
