<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suppressing method of meandering in a rolling mill for suppressing the meandering without adopting a method used for a conventional method in cold rolling. <P>SOLUTION: In a suppressing method of the meandering in the rolling mill by which the meandering of a rolled stock is suppressed by respectively imparting the same quantity of an opening controlled variable deviationΔG<SB>DF</SB>to an opening controlled variableΔG<SB>W</SB>on the work side of the rolling mill and an opening controlled variableΔG<SB>D</SB>on the drive side in the opposite directions in the accordance with the amountΔP<SB>DF</SB>of variation of the load deviation of the rolling mill, phase lead compensation is added to a control system for determining the opening controlled variable deviationΔG<SB>DF</SB>and the larger a rolling speed V is, the larger value the time constant T of the phase lead compensation takes. Control gain is changed in the accordance with the width W of a rolled sheet and the plastic coefficient Q of the rolled sheet, the narrower the width W of the rolled sheet, the larger the control gain takes and the smaller the plastic coefficient Q of the rolled sheet, the larger the control gain takes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
