PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domestic elevator to communicate the downstairs with the upstairs in a house so as to realize excellent workability and operability. SOLUTION: A hoistway 2 is constituted by connecting a first part 3 facing a first floor space, a second part 4 facing a ceiling part between the first floor and the second floor, and a third part 5 facing a second floor space to each other. A fourth guide roller 22 is provided on a door end side end of an inner door 18 for an entrance formed in an elevating/lowering body 17. Sixth and seventh guide pieces 8d, 11d, 15d, 8a, 11a, 15a to move and guide the fourth guide roller 22 when the inner door 18 is a closed posture are formed on the first, second and third parts 3, 4, 5.
