<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium which allows high-quality printing to be carried out, by reliably decreasing surface roughness of an ink accepting layer. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium 10 is provided with a dummy substrate 11, a functional layer 21 which can hold data, and a transparent ink accepting layer 24 provided in the opposite side to the functional layer 21 with respect to the dummy substrate 11, and the brightness of the dummy substrate 11 is specified eight or more, and the color saturation is specified four or less. Intervening a colored layer, such as a white ink layer, is thereby not required between the ink accepting layer 24 and the dummy substrate 11. For this reason, a manufacturing process is simplified. Further, because the surface property of the dummy substrate 11 is reflected in the ink accepting layer 24, for example, if the dummy substrate 11 is produced by an injection molding method, an average surface roughness (Ra) of the ink accepting layer 24 become very small. This allows the coloring and the gloss near a silver halide photography to be obtained, when the printing using an ink-jet printer is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
