<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon controller for facilitating an operation by previously storing the operation procedure of the expanding and contracting operation of a balloon which is mounted on an endoscope insertion part or an insertion assisting tool and performing the operation in response to the operation procedure. <P>SOLUTION: The balloon controller 100 includes a program input unit 156. An external input means 158 inputs a program which indicates the operation procedure of the expanding and contracting operation of the first and second balloons 42, 72. The program is stored in a program memory 160.
