<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high functional pluggable transceiver enhancing EMI resistance by a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transceiver is composed of upper and lower cases (11 and 12), a holder (81), optical assemblies (51 and 61), a cover 14, a circuit board (15) and a grip 13. An optical assembly is fixed via a conductive elastic body on the upper and lower cases together with the holder. The rear end of the circuit board is exposed out of the transceiver, and the connection parts of the circuit board and the upper housing and the cover are shielded by a ground pattern on a shield bracket and the board. In addition, a latching/latch-releasing mechanism to a host system is attained by three components of the grip, a latching lever mounted on a lower housing and a plate spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
