<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter tube which has a sufficient rigidity even formed thin and is highly prevented from kinking. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter tube is equipped with a resin layer made of a polymer material and a tubular braided body made by braiding a plurality of metal wire materials wound in a spiral shape and embedded in the resin layer. The wire diameter of the wire material is 0.1-30% of the outer diameter of the tubular body of the braided body, and the angle made by the wire material and the longitudinal axis of the catheter tube is 60-89°.
