PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc sander, provided with a dust collecting cover covering a grinding disc in such a way that a part around a wall can be securely ground without being hindered by the dust collecting cover, and that dust is not discharged at other parts than around the wall. SOLUTION: In this disc sander 30 to drive and rotate the grinding disc 34 installed, the dust collecting cover 36 is provided to cover the whole outer circumference of the grinding disc 34. On the dust collecting cover 36, an opening/closing part 55 is provided to be opened/closed to expose part of the grinding disc 34 outward from the dust collecting cover 36.
