<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency and high voltage transformer in which, even if silicon resin is used as a mold material, a sufficient insulation can be reserved for the high frequency and high voltage transformer without rolling up bubbles, etc. inside the mold part, and also even if the mold material of an outer wall is separated, etc., the insulation can be reserved. <P>SOLUTION: The high frequency and high voltage transformer for excimer lamp lighting is constituted of a coil which comprises a core composed of an insulative material, a primary coil wound on the core, an inter-wire insulator provided in an outer periphery of the inter-wire insulator and a secondary coil wound on an outer periphery of the inter-wire insulator, and a ferrite core disposed so as to interpose the coil.
