<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an accident by urging caution to a driver in advance when a vehicle passes through an accident occurrence point even on a road where the vehicle firstly passes. <P>SOLUTION: Accident assessment information is inputted from an accident assessment information input part 321, the status of the accident is analyzed at an accident information analysis part 323 and the analysis result including an advancement direction of the vehicle at the accident is put as a data-base in an accident data base 324. To which accident occurrence point the vehicle is approaching is detected from the present location of the vehicle and the advancement direction and an accident generation history by a similar vehicle having the same advancement direction at the corresponding accident occurrence point is retrieved. When the corresponding accident exists, an alarm for urging caution to the driver is emitted based on it and precautions met to the actual road condition are given to the driver, thereby, occurrence of accident is previously prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
