PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying roller which is excellent in wear resistance, free from pollution of a surface of paper and film with carbon black blended as countermeasures for static electricity, and excellent in static electricity preventive capacity, and equipment using the same. SOLUTION: The sheet conveying roller to convey sheets such as paper (1) mainly consists of foamed or non-foamed resin or elastomer, and contains very fine carbon fibers of nano scale, and (2) when the resin is thermoplastic resin, the resin has the melt index (MI) of 2 g/10 min. to 40 g/10 min.
