摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a dipole magnetic field capable of blocking high-energy electrons in response to the number of high-energy electrons peripheral to the artificial satellite at the given time without the intermediary of a ground station and another satellite that counts high-energy electrons. SOLUTION: The magnetic field generator comprises a magnetic field forming coil, a current control unit for controlling the current to be supplied to the coil, a magnetometer for measuring the geomagnetic field, an arm for holding the magnetometer, and a magnetic field data processor for predicting the number of high-energy electrons, based on the geomagnetic field as measured by the magnetometer for determining the value of the current to be supplied to the coil.
