The module has interfaces (2, 4) for connection to superordinate and subordinate networks, respectively. A firewall is provided between the interfaces. A third interface (7) is connected to a separate network node and with the former two interfaces through respective firewalls. One of the firewalls has a projectable unit for authentication of the node and for provision of access to preset modules of the subordinate network.
