The present invention provides a method and apparatus for screening polymorphs of a desired substance providing a plurality of enclosed spaces. The temperature and pressure of the enclosed spaces can be controlled. Various crystal identification means can be used to identify the polymorphic form of the solidified substance. The present invention uses an antisolvent technique for crystallizing a droplet or a cluster of droplets to form various polymorphs.
