SOLUTION: This print service providing device provides a print service according to a standard interface. The print service providing device has a print service providing means that requests an authentication of a user to an external device based on user information received in conjunction with a generation request of a print job by the standard interface, receives the authentication result of the user from the external device and sends back job identification information for identifying the print job generated corresponding to the generation request of the print job to the requester of the generation request.
