<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a packaged drink that is capable of enclosing fragrance. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing canned coffee is stated: coffee granules 20 are held within an encasing section 16 attached to the end lid 36 of a container 12; a filter 22 is installed on the encasing section 16, by which it becomes possible for such things as water, sugar solution, milk blend or the like to pass into and out of the encasing section 16 while being held within a volume 14 of the container 12, thus moving mutually between them, it being arranged that the coffee granules 20 cannot escape from the encasing section 16; coffee is prepared by extracting the coffee granules 20 as the hermetic container 12 is heated; the granules 20 are enclosed airtight within the container 12 before extraction, so that all the fragrance elements with a high degree of volatility that belong to coffee are held within the container 12 and penetrate into the water and milk preserved therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
