WATER PURIFICATION DEVICE AND WATER TANK USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification device which can be easily attached to an existing water storage tank, and can purify water in the water storage tank without supply of power.

SOLUTION: A condenser 20 is disposed above the cover 52 of the water storage tank 50, and a light introducing pipe 30 is attached by inserting it into a through hole 52A penetrating the cover 52. Light condensed by the condenser 20 through the light introducing pipe 30 is introduced into the water storage tank 50, and water W is heated by the light condensed by the condenser 20 in a heating part 42, and the water W in the water tank is purified by a photocatalyst 40 on the side of the light introducing pipe 30.
