PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die which hardly gives rise to various problems ensuing from the deviation of a movable core of the movable side, even if a molding operation is repeated for a long time and is suitable for the formation of an oversized molded object ever such as light guide plate for oversize liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: In this injection die, a cavity side part MS and a movable side part MM are provided. The movable side part MM has a movable core 4 of a movable half with a shaping surface 40a corresponding to one side of the molded object; and a fixed core 50 of the movable half constituting a movable half plate 5 which encircles the movable core 4 and is retained in a relatively movable manner in the mold clamping direction and the mold opening direction to the movable core 4, to the movable core 4 and performs a primary mold clamping, in contact under pressure with a parting face 20b of the cavity side part MS prior to mold clamping, the cavity side part MS side forming a parting face 50a surrounding a shaping surface 40a. In addition, either of the fixed core 50 or a plate member 51 is guided by a guide post unit 7, in a relatively movable manner, in the mold clamping direction, while being positioned in an orthogonal direction with the mold clamping direction.
