PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitutive component for a fishing reel effectively preventing rust or electrolytic corrosion in between the constitutive component made of a noble metal and a reel body made of a base metal. SOLUTION: The constitutive component is made of a SUS high-strength material as a noble metal plate, wherein the surface of its matrix material 27 is furnished with a chromium oxide surface treatment layer 28, thereby enabling the component of high dimensional accuracy to be formed while maintaining high mechanical strengths and high electrolytic corrosion-proof effect. Similar effects can be yielded when, as the matrix material 29 of this constitutive component, i.e. a high-strength material made of brass or zinc as the noble metal plate, a material whose surface is provided with a metallic reinforcing layer 30 such as chromium or nickel plating, the surface of which is provided with a chromium oxide surface treatment layer 28, is used.
