PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal unit preventing deterioration of receiving sensitivity, while maintaining display function. SOLUTION: The communication terminal unit decides whether a receiving intensity indication value RSSI, detected from a receiving output of a communication processor 101, corresponds to "greater than or equal to a first level (A)", "smaller than the first level (A) and greater than or equal to a second level (B)" or "smaller than the second level (B)". The communication terminal unit instructs to generate a display drive voltage (a) in the case of "greater than or equal to the first level (A)", or a display drive voltage (b) in the case of "smaller than the first level (A) and greater than or equal to the second level (B)", or a display drive voltage (c) in the case of "smaller than the second level (B)" (here, (a)>(b)>(c)). The smaller the receiving intensity indication value RSSI is, the lower the display drive voltage is generated so as to reduce the noise level generated in a power supply 109. By this, though the display brightness of a display 108 is decreased, C/N ratio is improved, and therefore, it becomes possible to prevent deterioration of the receiving sensitivity, while maintaining display functions.
