摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having a sufficient strength, a superior spring performance, and a superior performance in transmitting high frequency signals to be used for various kinds of parts for electronic equipments, and to provide a terminal made of that material. SOLUTION: This is the material for the high frequency signal transmission, wherein a raw material composed of an alloy which is provided with characteristic relationship between yield strength (YS) 0.2% and electric conductivity (EC) of YS≥-1.25EC+700, and which has a copper plating layer with the thickness of 0.1-5.0μm on the surface of the raw material, wherein the standard deviation of the thickness of the copper plating layer on the face where the copper plating is applied isσ≤0.5μm per 1mm<SP>2</SP>, and regarding the surface roughness, the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) is 0.5μm or less, the maximum height (Ry) is 2μm or less, and ten-point average roughness (Rz) is 1μm or less.
