PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure contact holding connector using a coil spring prevented from excessive pressure even when unexpected shock or vibration are added. SOLUTION: A conductive pin is mounted at least on one end of respective through holes of an insulated housing formed in the thickness direction. A flange part formed on the conductive pin is engaged with a small diameter part formed at one end of the through hole to keep at least a part of the conductive pin inside the through hole. A conductive coil spring, contacting the flange part at its one end, elastically pressing the conductive pin toward outside of the through hole is mounted in the through hole. The length of the part of the conductive pin below the flange part is made enough for keeping every turns of the coil spring so as not touch with each other in the through hole even when the coil spring is compressed.
