PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive equipped with a head positioning control function which can effectively suppress the disturbances without using an acceleration sensor or the like. SOLUTION: In a head positioning control system applied to a disk drive, a feedforward control system 2 inputs the positioning error signals ES obtained from a feedback control system 1 to detect the amplitude and phase of the disturbance, calculates the control compensation value (FF signal A4) for compensating the disturbance from the multiplication of the amplitude and the phase, and outputs it to the feedback control system 1.
