PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for making an operation request time out while suppressing communication traffic required for transfer of an operation response from a server to a client even when it requires time for processing corresponding to the operation request in the server. SOLUTION: This intermediary device 101 which intermediates communication between a management device 102 as a server to be provided outside of a firewall 104 and managed devices 10 as a plurality of clients to be provided inside the firewall 104 by providing the intermediary device 101 inside the firewall 104 receives commands from each managed device 10, transfers them to the management device 102, when a response to any command transferred so far becomes a transmissible state in the management device 102 in the case of accessing the management device 102, the response is received and the response is transfered to a transmitting origin of a command corresponding to the response.
