Flange parts 1c of the troughing side walls of a single chain scraper conveyer are of rightangled triangular section to provide increased strength. Each of the scrapers has a nose 2b which engages in a link of the chain, the scraper being held by a stirrup bolt 8. The ends of the scrapers are shaped so that they deflect conveyed material away from recesses 3 in the troughing walls. |
