FIELD: building, particularly dome-shaped roofs for public buildings. ^ SUBSTANCE: dome-shaped roof comprises support ring and spherical thin-walled triangular members directed from roof bottom to crest thereof and provided with ribs. The ribs extend along perimeter of the triangular members. The triangular members and support ring are connected one to another by electric welding. Lower parts of triangular member joints and joints between support ring and triangular members are provided with rests having slots. Electrically heated reinforcement rods provided with heads and washers connected to ends thereof are inserted in slots of the rests. ^ EFFECT: reduced bending moments in support ring area. ^ 3 dwg
