The invention concerns a device for accommodating a continuous casting mold (1) on an elevating table for casting molten metals, particularly molten ste el materials, comprising a number of hydraulic oscillating drives (3), which se t the elevating table in oscillatory motion. This device of the aforementioned type is modified by two independent elevating table sides in such a manner that the elevating table (8) is provided with a frame-like and one-piece design and forms an inner space (8a), which remains open for the passage of the casting (4) and which is correspondingly dimensioned. The oscillating drives (3) are placed in the corners (8b) inside the frame surface (8c) and, while being laterally offset in pairs, can be controlled in a fully synchronized manner with regard to an arched, or together, for a perpendicul ar drawing out movement (9).
