The printing press has a control system for the operation of at least the inking mechanism, which has a display panel (01) to show representations of the settings of the ink sirens. The control system enables settings to be made for those inking zones which strike both sides of the printed article at the same time showing them simultaneously next to each other on the display panel, unless these sides are adjacent on the material web being printed.
