The rotor has an essentially cylindrical base body with parallel grooves for accommodating commutation windings. Conductor loops in the grooves can be contacted via a commutator, whereby their connected ends form an open winding head and their junctions form a closed winding head of a winding packet. The commutator (5) is arranged on the side of the closed winding head (4). AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of manufacturing an inventive device.
