A method for registering entries in a DNS (Domain Name System) type database, comprises the steps (21) of providing a registration identifier (1), said registration identifier (1) being a string of characters; automatically determining a first domain name identifier, said first domain name identifier being a character string comprising at least a first substring that is algorithmically derived from at least a substring of the registration identifier (1); automatically determining a second domain name identifier, said second domain name identifier being a character string comprising at least a second substring that is algorithmically derivable from at least a substring of the registration identifier (1) or from at least a substring of the first domain name identifier; and registering (2, 3), in the DNS type database, domain names according to the first domain name identifier and to the second domain name identifier.
