A method of calibrating conductivity meters (33) in a milking system, wherein milk as drawn from each teat of a milking animal during milking is passed a respective one of the conductivity meters (33) to obtain a conductivity value of the milk from each teat; and a cleaning fluid is passed the conductivity meters during cleaning of the milking system, comprises the step of calibrating the conductivity meters relative to each other by use of conductivity values of the cleaning fluid as obtained from the conductivity meters during cleaning of the milking system. Hereby, no particular calibration fluid with a known conductivity value is needed, and the calibration can be performed concurrently with the cleaning of the milking system. |
