PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a dust core exhibiting excellent dimensional accuracy and desired performance. SOLUTION: The process for producing a dust core comprises a step for forming a plurality of teeth portions 12 having a shank 13 by pressing soft magnetic powder, a step for attaching a coil 15 by applying it over each shank 13 of the plurality of teeth portions 12, and a step for arranging the plurality of teeth portions 12 applied with the coil 15 in the recess 53m of a die 51, filling the die 51 with soft magnetic powder 35 and pressing them to form a molding. The molding has a yoke portion extending annularly, and the plurality of teeth portions 12 bonded to the yoke portion at a predetermined interval along the circumferential direction of the yoke portion such that the shank 13 projects in the radial direction of the yoke portion.
