PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone exchange apparatus excellent in operability and security by enabling participation in a conference and completion in the middle according to the intention of a participant in the conference. SOLUTION: A telephone exchange apparatus 101 manages conference group data by a memory 108, enables accessing an arbitrary conference group by dial information (special number) from extension telephone sets (102 or 104) to be a participant and an office line trunk 106, establishes a communication path using a conference communication apparatus 109 in accordance with the received conference group number, and performs conference communication.
