PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint metal for use in wooden frame construction, which rigidly joins a vertical wooden member and a horizontal wooden member to each other without a gap. SOLUTION: The joint metal is formed of a main joint member 10 having a base portion 11 fixed to the vertical wooden member 500, and projections 12 projecting from the base portion at right angles; a rod-like connection member 20 having a drawing through hole 21 and a fixing through hole 22 formed therein, and inserted into a horizontal hole 602 bored in the horizontal wooden member 600; and a drawing member 30 penetrated into the drawing through hole 21 formed in the connection member 20 via a through hole 605 bored in the horizontal wooden member 600, and drawing the connection member 20 having the other end thereof fixed to the main connection member 10, depending on predetermined operation.
