PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient filter deck assembly having high capacity for rotary drum filters. SOLUTION: The rotary drum filter 90 has two or more divided grids extending in the long axis direction arranged around the periphery of the drum. Two or more wave shaped sheets 36 are installed, the front end 25 and the rear end 26 of each sheet are attached to an adjacent pair of divided grips to specify a filtrate chamber 80. Open hole filter plates 40 having the same number of the wave shaped sheets are installed to the tips of the wave shaped sheets. Seal clips 60 are installed around the tip of each wave shaped sheet to fix a seal material 50 and holed elongate caps 66, 68 are attached to be removable at the tip of each divided grid. When the rotary drum filter is out of operation, combinations of each filter plate with the wave shaped sheet and/or elongate caps are brought to be easily exchangeable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
