PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an increase in capacity of a data recording device makes it difficult to retrieve a necessary file from a large quantity of data at high speed. SOLUTION: The file system for managing a file composed of a file name and data which is recorded in a recording device comprises a file access control part including an attribute information area storing a registered keyword as metadata of the data to be added to the file and controlling the access to the file, and a file retrieval part retrieving the file based on an input keyword. The file retrieval part includes an attribute information retrieval part retrieving by comparing the registered keyword with the input keyword and a full-text retrieval part retrieving by comparing the whole file with the input keyword. The file access control part includes an attribute information change part changing the registered keyword based on the result of the retrieval by the full-text retrieval part.
